Video streaming services are popping up like mushrooms in the dark lately. Now Microsoft has launched its MSN Video Downloads service, which will provide daily television programming, including video content from MSNBC.com, Food Network, FOX Sports and IFILM Corp., for download to Windows Mobile-based devices running Windows Media Player 10.
The service is initially available in the United States only and a one-year premium membership to the MSN Video Downloads service with access to all available videos costs US$19.95. In addition, people can access a limited amount of free content without a paid membership.
The culprit: As far as I know ATM only few mobile devices have Windows Media Player 10 installed (Dell Axim X50, beta WM2005 devices).
