That's what I was thinking until last night. I got my Nook STR about 11 days ago and had read three complete books on it since then and was about half-way through a fourth when I got the ghosting (on one page-turn only). Most of the words were very faint, but I was clearly able to make out a few of them. When I paged back, there they were. However, after that they went away again.
So for me, the problem didn't show up until after I'd read over a thousand pages. Also, it was nowhere near as bad as tk_kat's example in post #68. And my ghost images were light gray, not whitish as tk_kat's were, and as SCION describes.
So far, though, only one example of legible ghosting in four books. I can live with that. Just hoping it doesn't get worse.
