The current firmware is at 1.5.1 for the M90, and that is what came loaded when my device arrived.
I have not experienced the spontaneous page turns in the sun. What I have experienced quite often is no page turns on the first try. Or the second try. Perhaps they adjusted the IR sensitivity a bit too much.
