And that's exactly what I did. The point being that the books open in ADE on my computer, but when I load them onto the ereader (as you said) they don't open, unlike the books that I have bought with DRM. Overdrive lists Hanlin as being incompatible along with a heap of others, it's not that there's a problem with ADE, it seems to be a problem with Overdrive. As the Hanlin reads Epub I had assumed it would be ok for library use.
