As Joe563 said: make sure you call it "fonts". I can speak from experience that "Fonts" doesn't work. I have 14 showing on mine, so showing more than 7 isn't an issue. As a side note, when you get to large numbers of fonts it just going to full screen listing of fonts, so in theory it should fit up to about 26 based on what I've got on my screen.
One other thing: if you had the Kobo on when you plugged in and added them, make sure you turn it "OFF" then back "ON" to get the fonts to show.
