I don't know what the limit is for adding new fonts but you should be able to see at least some of the fonts you have added.

Have you done the following:
1) create a directory on the reader named 'fonts' in lowercase. The names Fonts or FONTS will not work.
2) add TrueType or OpenType fonts to the fonts directory with unique names. e.g. you cannot add a Georgia typeface since that name is already taken.
