I didn't know they made styli for capacitive touch screens! I'll have to look into that as that would probably be awesome for my cell phone :-)
I have heard of plastidip and I don't think I'll be going that route but I could definitely see that being a very good option for the KT. yeah I was worried about an eraser maybe leaving some kind of residue behind but I hadn't really given it that much thought..

you know all this talk of styli and touch screen durability has me worried for something. I got the impression that the touch screen on the Kobo was just the regular screen, more or less, with an infrared barrier across it. that doesn't necessarily give me too much encouragement for it's durability. at first I was interested in finding a stylus solution to keep the screen clean but now I think I'll definitely figure something out so I can have the screen last as long as possible, it's too bad there wasn't at least two physical buttons for those who don't want to use the touch screen for every single page turn..
