I read somewhere that someone tried it unsuccessfully, but that's easy, even I can do it unsuccessfully.

At a minimum you'd have to root, if only to install some audio player and drivers. And while the chipset apparently supports BT, it's not clear to me that is sufficient on the hw side of things (is antenna built in also? how about digital-to-analog conversion?).

But I'm very curious about this also. I haven't seen any BT audio devices that didn't also have an audio jack, but it seems like a natural progression to eliminate that wiring once you have BT capability. It would be cool if B&N could just turn it on at some point with a software update (and I am ready with an 8GB microSD to hold a bit of audio content).
