I'm reading the Maude translation, so if I end up liking the book, I might have to run through it again because I've read that the Pevear translation reads better.
I rather liked the religious bits, and the way numerology was used in the book to prove that Napoleon was the Antichrist. I do like the way Tolstoy gets into the heads of his characters.
