Pottermore's CEO has said they'll be available on the Kindle, how that will happen will proabably be speculated on until either the Pottermore folks give more details or until the books are actually released. Overdrive does distribute Mobi format as well as ePub and PDF so it may be as simple as that, they'll be done through OD just like the ePubs (if there are ePubs) will and be just like any other sideloaded book on the Kindle.
