I had no idea those things were back in stock! I made a point of looking before posting on this thread -- in fact, I looked for a few days just to be sure. They'd been OOS for rather a long time; I really thought the dearth was permanent.

I highly recommend you pick up either the smooth black or the marbled red. I originally bought the $24.99 red cover to go with my two $15.00 as-is covers just in case the defects were upsetting. However, the $24.99 "new" cover was in no better condition than the "as-is" ones. All were quite good.

In retrospect, I might have chosen black over the marbled red for myself, which is gorgeous but seems a bit unmasculine if you're going to be using yours in sports bars and Irish pubs. Fortunately, mine will probably be going to my girlfriend's mother.

Besides which, I have a pebbled brown Platform Jacket as my main.
