For me, Half Blood Prince I thought came closest of any to capturing how it was for me when I read the books. Deathly Hollows Part 1 comes in close, but there are a few things that make me feel a bit not quite the same. The guy who took over the movies with Order of the Phoenix, I think is doing pretty much as good of a job as can be expected, and overall I prefer his movies to the earlier ones. That said, the books are still better.
