I'm bored with every "X will force Amazon to <blah> and the world will rejoice" scenario people seem hell-bent on dreaming up.
1) The Kindle (and Amazon) will live or die; don't really care either way—and I love the one I own.
2) People will read Harry Potter on Kindles or they won't; again... either way, don't care.
3) Amazon will move to support epub or they won't; either way, the sun will still rise and I will still be reading books by its light.
Speculation is fine... but sheesh! The idea that
any corporate giant could be forced to bow before Harry Potter is just asinine.
