Since Bookeen is apparently all about making sales and not about customer service, I am not holding my breath for an update. Furthermore, I'd venture a guess that in a few years when we get an update, it'll be half-ass.

The way it's been working is whatever notice is on their site when you place your order is the one that applies to you. I doubt you'll have to wait until May. What were the dates on the site when you placed your order? Mine came the last of the estimated dates when I placed mine. There was no email notification, I found out by checking the fed-ex website.
Correction:
Mine was shipped on the last of the estimated dates, it arrived later.
