I've been a long-time audio book
listener (and Rockbox user) but had to cut back on my exercising so have less time (& attention) available for listening. E-books looks like it'll expand my reading opportunities - the public & university libraries here are GREAT but they don't have everything. We're fortunate to have THREE independent book stores here in Oxford, MS (All Square Books related) plus lots of author residents, both living, dead, and past (Ace Atkins, Faulkner, Girsham, & too many others to list - BUT gotta include Neil White

I've been resisting e-book readers in favor of my netbook & iPod but suspect that will crumble as I get more into e-books.
