I had the original Nook, and I got the new N2E about a week and a half ago. I can honestly say I don't notice any ghosting - I don't see what people have been so concerned about, if there is any on mine, it's not noticeable. I also never played the games or worried about connecting when I wasn't near a wifi hotspot. As for music... I have an iPhone for that.
The N2E is exactly what I was looking for - something to read books on.
