Hello, ebooks are not very popular in Brazil yet. But its use is growing fast. The works of classical brazilian writers are all freeware now and virtual libraries are common in the universities. Exists a government project called 'Virtual Library of the Brazilian Student' with thousands of works in PDF and TXT format, everything free. In fact, near all classic brazilian/portuguese writer are there. It's very good.
About reading devices, after I bought my Sony reader, two more friends will buy one too.
