Oh, so if someone manages to get a copy of any of my HP eBooks, that person is going to return it to me? I don't think so. I think it's more likely that if someone unauthorized did get a hold of any of my HP eBooks, that whatever books were out there would be spread far and wide. Sorry, but it is not the same as a name plate in a paper book.
It's just a way to track you down should any of your copies get loose.
