I've emailed them to ask. I'd expect any reasonable business to set aside units that they have already taken payment for. They were in stock when I ordered - since they took some to sell at the Paris show. A unit should have been set aside when I paid for it, so if they have effectively taken payment from me and then sold the unit to someone else it's refund time. It might be the ideal reader, but if Bookeen operate that way then I don't want to buy from them.
On the other hand, I think it's pretty likely they have a unit set aside for me. So I'm probably running my mouth off about them for no reason.
