The Infinity One must fend off the forces of nature: black holes, sun eaters, and high velocity pebbles. They must fight the forces of beings: Scythe Needles, Engulfers, and pull-rogues. But of all the threats the Universe can conjure, the greatest threat comes from within the ship. For a traitor is on board, and the captain will continue hanging beings off the ship until the conspirator is caught. Nino, an apprentice, must find the traitor before the captain turns on him and his master. But as Nino delves deep into the secrets of the ship, his desire to save his friends turns into an obsession for information.
