Between "too awful to read" and "perfect" there's pretty large set of books in the "I'll just get used to the typos" category. If only one or two things stand out, that's like a minor black spec on a clean white wall.

Basically, my editor complains that she missed some stuff because, and she is faithful to remind me, I released it with out giving her "just one more pass through." (for the 9 millionth time mind you).
I also feel the sentence structure in book one is not as good as in book two, and one of my pre-readers pointed out that my "story telling" was much improved. He felt that book two showed of my talents much better then book one. All of my pre-readers of book two stated it was much better then book one.
Besides.... I assume every author looks at a work and could tweak it forever... I know I do!
