What are you referring to as a lack of categories? This thread was more about the potential for subcollections and organization, but the fact that we do have collections is essentially categorization.
Rather than calling "collections" categories, it gives you the option of making collections for whatever you want (categories, prioritized reading, publication dates, authors, etc.)
