I have 2 local B&Ns (hooray living in a college epicenter!). The closest is 4 miles from my door and has chairs indoor and out, but only in the cafe area. The further one is 8 miles out and is one of the in-mall, two story affairs. They are littered with large couch chairs and tables. They also have the table seating indoor and out in the cafe area.

ETA:

I love to sit in bookstores and read. There are 3 independent bookshops in my town as well as the B&Ns (the Borders closed a few months ago). I can read just about anywhere, but I enjoy going into bookstores because I always encounter something new. My partner just wanders about aimlessly making lists of things she'd like the ebooks for and I just read.
