That actually had nothing to do with your system file search. I had exactly the same thing happen and all I did was claim the book offer. Clearly Amazon has a few bugs in the system.

WARNING: Watch out very carefully for the book offer. It is VERY easy to wind up with a book not eligible when you modify the order of the books or when you look in different categories. Make sure you are getting a KSO book or you might not know it and the $10 gift card will never show up. I continually would wind up with a list of titles that were not in the offer even though I was just clicking "next" and often I would search with "Kindle with Special Offers Qualifying eBooks" as the limiting term and the search engine would send me to a title than was specifically not in the KSO listing. If I was going to take this offer, I would only do so after I received and email confirmation that the title was eligible for the offer, especially as they won't give you the $10 credit until August.
