The short answer is basically - No.
I don't have a Libre Pro or a Regular Jetbook, I have a JetBook Lite and all three are
part of the Dr Yi M800 series of ereaders as far as the hardware and base firmware
is concerned. There are two fonts with six sizes as the system fonts, as far as I know
they are all san serif fonts. Changing those would require a rebuilding of the base OS
firmware.
In addition to the base/kernel firmware, the firmware package includes a number of
embedded utilities and application software. Chief among these are the "reading
programs". Aluratek and Ectaco selected and integrated the application software to
create their unique products from the hardware and firmware supplied by maker (Dr YI).
I believe that the initial releases of these products included reader software that used
the system fonts only. Later firmware updates added and/or changed the reader
programs to use fonts embedded in the ebook file and then also a font embedded in the
reader.
I do not know which version of firmware you are running with your Libre Pro, nor what
reader application (and reader version) would provide what abilities in this regard.
One approach that should work is to use the .pdf format which will inherently use
embedded fonts, so the readers for .pdf will be able to display them.
Luck;
Ken
