MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - Unable to Load Metadata/PluginUpdater fails to respond

Currently running Version 0.8.6

Since yesterday evening Edit Metadata>Download Metadata etc fails to respond.

The significant error appears to be: URLError: <urlopen error [Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it>

Also no luck with Plugin Updater which doesn't respond: 'Unable to reach Forums index page'. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...67&postcount=1

I can access this URL address no problem in Firefox

No updates to antivirus received for a week although Windows Defender seems to be doing things in the background which I am not sure about.

Any ideas?
