I certainly don't agree with "Sexual descriptions of any kind are always gratuitous." There is a time and place for them. They can develop characters and plots. I suppose everyone has a different threshold from tasteful and meaningful to purient and shocking but I disagree with that blanket assertion. Is that any different from saying violence or religious scenes are always gratuitous?
