With the exception of the Lansdale short (which still isn't his best work), this collection just isn't worth much more than... well, free. Maybe it's just me, but there's more to noir than a 40's setting, a conflicted cop and a fallen starlet.
I was excited at first, but now... even though it was free, I still feel ripped off somehow.
