is AZW the same as Mobipocket? If not then I don't think you can say mobipocket is the most read format, if it is then yes you might have a claim.

but also it's not the most widely distributed and that is what I think JSWolf is referring to. What format are ebook stores around the world including the US and UK uisng? If the majority are using ePub then that is the most widely used.
I'm not sure how it is with the publishers out in the UK but all mainstream publisher are either on AZW or ePub here in the US, mobi is used on more obscure smaller publisher, self publishers and authors.
