My wife and have our Kindle 3's on the same account. I suggest going through the process of turning whispersync off (through "Managing Your Devices") if you and your wife planning on reading the same books. The last thing you want is to sit down to read a book and find it is on the page your wife is on rather than the one you are on, or to have your wife in a bad mood because she is on the wrong page
