Vancouver on the whole is a chill and safe place. It's the random 17 and 16 year olds with too much alcohol and random jerks bringing trucks they fully intended to burn who are to blame for the fiasco. They're a tiny tiny tiny minority. Many even turned themselves in the next day. Who said Canadians weren't nice? Even when they're jerks and burn cars, they walk into the police station the next day. I love my city, and I love my country.
