That's hard to tell when we don't know anything about your local Wifi setup. Is it infrastructure ("managed") mode? Or is it ad-hoc mode based? What encryptions do you run? Is there a DHCP server issuing IPv4 addresses and are those allowed to connect to the internet without further setup? VPN software needed? What wifi channels does it operate on?
