EVERY e-ink device has some degree of ghosting. I own a PRS 350 and a PRS 950 and I can assure you - they do have ghosting.
Yet, the truth is, while you are reading, you would be hard pressed to notice. Ghosting is certainly more noticeable when you have a uniform background - for example, on my 350, if I open a uniformly dark picture after reading text, I will notice the text ghosted. Yet, I have to look for it, it's not like it jumps at you.
How much ghosting bothers you depends on your tolerance for it. And do understand that how much ghosting you get depends on how quickly the page updates and how intense the page-turn screen flash. Kobo made, at least initially, the mistake of going for a quick page update with minimal flashing, which led to more visible ghosting.
But really, don't over-emphasize the issue. As Pomtroll's post exemplifies, in everyday use you will not notice.
