Penru, I'm sorry to say but there is no way that USB cable is going to work with either a PE or an EE.
USB ports supply 5V only the PE and EE require 12V therefore no work. Now if you wanted to use it from the PE to charge your phone then OK but as Last said only when the USB port is active.
