I read both as a girl and enjoyed them both but I like Jane Eyre more. Then again, I was a kind of angst-y girl so Jane's life may have resonated with me more then.

I should reread them both, and see if I still feel the same. But, there's just something about a book that has a crazy lady locked in an attic, you know?

I also really enjoyed Rebecca( by Daphne du Maurier- hope I spelled her name right)
