I don't mind a rehash of the book, especially if it's one that I haven't read. Four or five sentences, or more depending on the length of the book will do. If you put spoilers in your review, use spoiler tags. I don't care about the literary merits of the book, I just want to know if you liked it or not, and why - this is the most important part of the review for me.
