The idea is that if one breaks down you have to get that one fixed or dumped and not the other one. Smart eh? They sell you a gadget to keep them together, one on top of the other, with a retractable thing where you can put stuff on. Make sure that the doors open correctly with regard of one to the other.

I didn't know one can stuck them like that.
Our washing machine has a primitive drier, it is more of squeezing out water, than actual drying. I don't know the proper feature term.
I bought a tumble dryer. It is the size of the washing machine but what a joy it is!
