It is indeed good to have a choice.

I also think it nearly inevitable that the next Amazon offering will be a touch screen device, though I wouldn't hazard even a guess whether it will be an Android LCD Nook Color clone, or something closer to the eInk Nook STR.

Hopefully, one of each!

If Amazon does offer both a eInk and LCD tablet, I hope they go the B&N route of making BOTH Android based devices that are either unlocked right from the factory, or at the very least, are not too hard to root, like the B&N Nooks.

B&N got it right on that one.
