MY NAME IS is Brandalyn Gill and I am an 18 year old author from Houston, Texas. I have recently started my own publishing company called Illumination Literary Publishing and my first book titled "Life", a collection of contemporary fiction short stories and poems, which was published on December 12 of 2010.

When I was 9 years old, i developed the gift of writing and promised myself that I would be published by 18; this year is my year and I will stop at nothing to see my name in lights. I just wanted to give youtube a chance to see just what can happen when you shoot for the stars and never give up...

I AM also an early high school graduate; I graduated at 15 years old and started college that same year. Growing up, I always had issues with finding my place in the world, because I was knowlegeable for my age and didn't fit in with most of my peers but I was too young for the adult world. Through many unfortunate events, I finally figured out what my purpose is. I always stood out because God didn't want me to be like the "status quo"; he has a separate plan and story for me. I am working every day to be a star and help others realize the star in them and how to exemplify that through encouragement and support...
