I would exchange your Touch for another one, Jim. My problem was not the same, but perhaps related. Sameer and I wrote back and forth a bit about it, and we decided I should send it to him so that he could get to actually test a Touch that malfunctioned in the way mine did. Kobo sent me out a replacement.
They missed the overnight cut off, so I will be using my WiFi Kobo until Monday. Wow, it feels heavy, slow, and awkward to hold, in comparison.
