Anyone who has read of the exploits of Winston Churchill has heard of his famous escape after capture by the Boers.
This book is the story of those who were to travel with him: Haldane, Le Mesurier and Brockie. It chronicles weeks under floorboards of their prison, journeys through swamps and on the railroad.
It is a short 100 pages or so.
The book was published in 1900, so is out of copyright in the US. However, since Haldane carried on a distinguished career, dying in 1950, it is likely still in copyright elsewhere except Canada.
