What do you look for in a book review?

I'm trying to improve the book reviews I post to my blog and I'm wondering what you look for in a book review. I do the blog for the fun of it, so I don't analyze the books on literary merit, but rather from the viewpoint of someone looking for a good read.

I don't want to spoil the books for someone so I try to keep things completely spoiler free. Most of the reviews I've read are basically a synopsis of what happens in the book and contain far too many spoilers for my liking.

The flipside to that is that it makes things extremely difficult if you want to keep things as vague as possible, but still want to discuss some of the things that happen.
