Is best buy down there selling the Kobo? Perhaps they will allow the return of an opened item. I know when I bought my hubby his sony, it was an opened one and they had A LOT of them. The sales guy told me that ereaders are popular gifts but they get alot of people who aren't ready to give up paper returning them...
just a thought. I think the best buys up here are going to start carrying them next week...
