Hi,

Firstly, I am unsure if this is the correct forum so please move my post if there is a more suitable category.

I own a Sony PRS-700 which I have had for a while now. Recently got an iPad too to assist with my work. I am considering switching to a kindle because of the fact you can have your books on many devices.

I have several hundred books in EPUB format in calibre and am wondering how I would get these to a kindle? And, as they wouldnt be purchased from amazon, would they still be available on my phone and ipad?

Sorry if this seems a stupid question, I am just unsure how the kindle software works, and what format it reads.
