The ghosting issues come from choosing to do a complete page refresh only on the 6th page. If you choose to do it on every page, it will be the same as the kindle. On my device I can choose to never do that, and it is great. I don't get the annoying screen-turns-black thing, and the ghosting is actually the white part becoming whiter. The effect is improved contrast.
You are right about the browser, but isn't it annoying to navigate without touch?
And can you explain to me how is the kindle better if it has worse features?
