I obtained In Her Name: Empire as a free book and finally got around to reading it (I'm in the middle of it now). I find it enjoyable, so this morning I bought the other 4 books in the series at Smashwords. But I noticed when reading the descriptions of the books that what you list as book 4, In Her Name: First Contact, seems as if it should be the first book in the series. I'm sure I will understand once I get to the book and read it, but could you briefly explain to me why First Contact follows what appear to be long after first contact books? In Empire, there have been several comments about how the war has been raging for a century already.
Also, a suggestion. Because this is a series and appears that the books should be read in a particular order, I think it would be helpful to readers/purchasers if the titles include the series designation. That is, when I look at the title it would help if I saw In Her Name 1: Empire, In Her Name 4: First Contact so I could easily read them in proper order.
