To be honest, I don't have any games to try it on, but I'm almost willing to bet you could—but I'll bet on anything. It should be pretty easy and harmless to test.

I'd want to move any of the game's companion files (I'm assuming there are some?) with it so you don't lose any saved games/settings/whatnot.
