NO! That's a sleeve. It's not a case. It won't help at all if the Kindle is not in the sleeve when it's dropped. Waste of money too as it won't fit a Kindle with a case. So if you actually want some protection when you are using the Kindle, a sleeve isn't it. I just don't get why so many people feel a sleeve is OK when it's really not.
