Hello!

In my university we had the idea of making a guide intended to be used by people and organizations who want to product (writing, editing, designing), publish (ebook, PoD) and distribute (platforms like google books, amazon) their own books.

We'd like to use only open source formats and softwares to cover all the workflow (writing, editing, formatting...).

We want also to concentrate on the specific issue of educational books (e.g. paginations systems, footnotes/endnotes, ...).

What do you think about it?

Do you have suggestion?
