Sad as it may sound, I have to keep buying the newest James Bond novel. I have read ALL of them since Ian Fleming passed in 1964. I am a James Bond fan. However no one can compare to the original. I am compelled to read each new author that trys to honor the Fleming tradition. Sadly the last two have been the worst I have come across. Is it me because I have read so many and have a sense of what the character should be or is it the authors that try to be Fleming and just don't get it?
